What Shakespeare would say
If Shakespeare were alive today
He would create another Ironic Play.
He would no longer target castles
But morals, bad events and vices.
The drama of Romeo and Juliet would be
A childish game but by no means free.
About the bitter of thousands of children
He would write an agony for the grandchildren.
Old language in modern slang
It would be like a chain gang.
The lack of good manners, no education
It would create an entirely different nation.
If we read another book today
And we still want to watch a play,
There are still people who love
And they follow the dawn of a white dove.
