This ain't a story about love and grace.
This ain't the sound of tender ripples, but of stormy waves.
This ain't no more a house to dwell and share,
When all you feel around is just the gust of death.
But not the silent kind, of aging,
The sounding one of bombs,
of blooded rubble far backbreaking,
of mortared feathers of a darling angel.
And endless streams of cries increasingly despondent,
Are carried by these warfares wider by the moment,
While clickers keep accounts of scattered ammo,
More nurses run from one to other in a torment.
And though we know, what do we care
It's all too much a cross to bear
For in this life, we have to share
A common sense for one's welfare
Just scrolling past all in disdain.
Better connection, less affection...
For those all mighty...no intention
To honor promises made to their nations.
